Our right to be safe is the name of the workshop for service providers that Fran Odette researcher/consultant and Doris Rajan senior researcher/consultant of IRIS gave on issues relating to violence against women, with a focus on women with disabilities. The workshop was recently presented in  Saint John, New Brunswick to a group of service providers. Before the workshop Doris and Fran sat down to speak with CBC radio host Hance Colburne of Information Morning Saint John where they spoke about their work around the topic of how “Abuse Relationships More Difficult To Escape For Disabled“.
