How might the community living sector might build on the radical changes implemented to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic – for example, closing day programs, looking for individualized options, etc. – to advance the inclusion agenda? Might this be an opportunity to achieve the kinds of ‘transformation’ in supports and services so often imagined, but always out of reach. What might be the role of the community living sector in a post-pandemic world and how might we also participate in the broader calls to address structural inequality and injustice?
These are some of the questions that Michael Bach, IRIS’ Managing Director, addressed during a recent online conversation sponsored by Community Living Ontario. The session recording can be found here: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/recording/9035581356333211147
