This year, consistent with the theme for NAAW 2022 ‘Disability Inclusive from the Start,’ IRIS is pleased to announce The Accessibility Exchange – an online platform will bring people with Disabilities, Deaf people, their supporters and organizations together with federally regulated organizations to build strong and effective accessibility plans as required under the Accessible Canada Act. We are excited that such a diverse group of people with disabilities and Deaf people, including Indigenous, racialized, Black, 2SLGBTQI+ and other identities are involved in the design and launching of this platform.
